Terms of service
The plain-language rules for using Gajan, and what you can expect from us.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Who we are
Gajan is operated by Agarwals AI. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Agarwals AI, and “you” means the person using Gajan.
You can reach us at hello@agarwals.ai.
The service
Gajan helps you practise for competitive exams in India. These terms cover the Gajan learner app at app.gajan.ai, the Gajan product website at gajan.ai, and Gajan inside AI assistants you connect it to, such as ChatGPT. Together we call these “Gajan” or “the service”.
By using Gajan you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Who can use Gajan
The Gajan learner app is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Gajan.
Your account and signing in
Your account is tied to your mobile number. You sign in by sending us a WhatsApp message from that number, or with a six-digit code we send to it on WhatsApp. Use only a number that is yours.
Keep your phone and your WhatsApp account secure: anyone who can use them can sign in as you. If you see a sign-in you did not make, reply NO to our WhatsApp sign-in message, which signs out every device and connected assistant, and tell us at hello@agarwals.ai.
Keep the details you give us accurate, such as your profile and the exams you register for.
Using Gajan fairly
Gajan is for your own exam preparation. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, sell or otherwise redistribute our questions, explanations or other content, by hand, with automated tools or through an AI assistant;
- harass, abuse or harm anyone, or use Gajan for anything unlawful;
- try to break, overload or interfere with the service, get around its security or limits, or reach accounts or data that are not yours; or
- sign in with someone else’s number or pretend to be someone else.
Our content
The questions, Gajan Originals, explanations, question analysis and the software behind Gajan belong to us or are licensed to us. Previous-year questions come from public exam papers; the explanations and analysis we write for them are ours.
While you use Gajan, you may use this content for your own preparation. That permission is personal to you and does not let you share or reuse the content elsewhere.
We work to keep questions and explanations correct, but mistakes can happen. If something looks wrong, please tell us.
No guarantee of exam results
Gajan is a practice tool. We do not promise any exam result, score, rank or selection, and how you do in an exam depends on much more than your practice with us.
Pricing
Practice is free forever. Mentor features are free during beta.
If we introduce paid features, we will say so before we charge you anything.
Connected assistants
You can use Gajan inside an AI assistant you connect it to, such as ChatGPT. The assistant’s own terms apply to your use of that assistant, and the company that runs it is responsible for it.
The assistant speaks for itself. We are not responsible for what it says, including any explanation it writes around our questions. Gajan’s sets, questions, the grading of your answers and our explanations come from us, and these terms apply to them wherever you use them.
You can disconnect at any time, from Settings › Connected apps in the Gajan app or in the assistant’s own settings.
Suspension and ending your use
You can stop using Gajan at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to, we will tell you why.
We may change, pause or stop parts of Gajan. If we stop the service altogether, we will tell you in advance where we can.
Limitation of liability
We provide Gajan “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities or exam outcomes, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability or right that cannot be limited under the law.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is material, we will also tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Gajan after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
